Justice for the Death of Trayvon Martin

I've replayed the 911 audio recordings over and over trying to understand the reason why the Sanford Police haven't arrested the shooter. George Zimmerman, the 28-year-old who has admitted to shooting Trayvon Martin, a 17 year old African American teen who was visiting a friend of the family in a gated townhouse community in Sanford, Fla.  During the visit, Trayvon walked to a local 7-Eleven store to purchase skittles and a can of iced tea.  On his way back he caught the attention of the neighborhood watch "captain", who sat in his sport-utility vehicle watching the 17 year old's every move. He thought Treyvon looked suspicious and called 911. He told the dispatcher that he was watching Martin, describing him as a black teen wearing jeans and a hoodie. He said that he looked like he was on drugs and was scouting out homes in the townhouse community. The dispatcher  told Zimmerman that officers are on the way. During the call you can hear George say “These a--holes always get away,” . Seconds later the dispatcher ask. Are you following him, His response, "Yep" The operatior told him that "we don't need you to do that".  But he continued... Last Updated on Sunday, 18 March 2012 22:37
